The single phase padmounted distribution transformer is designed to provide electrical service on underground distribution systems. The tra n s fo rmer is designed for outdoor m o u n t i n g on a pad. Primary and secondary cables enter the t ra n s fo rmer compartment from below, through openings in the pad. All exposed live parts are completely enclosed in tamper-resistant cabinets with provisions for padlocking.
